John Hunt, RRC, BECxP, CRC - President / Senior Consultant
John brings 27 years of combined professional experience in roofing, waterproofing, and consulting to every project from start to finish. His years of industry experience has allowed him to obtain the Registered Roof Consultant designation through the International Institute fo Building Envelope Consultants (IIBEC) as well as Building Envelope Commissioning through the University of Wisconsin.
Providing design review, forensic investigative surveys, as well as construction phase project management for building envelope related projects. Unique hands-on and design expertise allowing analysis of components and claddings as well as identify issues related to water and air infiltration and compliance with building, mechanical, and energy codes.
Design and construction administration experience includes storm water drainage, modifications, value engineering as well as development of construction documents for roofing, exterior wall, and waterproofing projects. Experienced in providing services for several successful building envelope construction and repair projects allows an approach to forensic work from a realistic perspective.

• Low- and steep-sloped roofing systems
• Plaza deck, balcony and below grade waterproofing
• Exterior wall assemblies, Window Flashing
• Testing of exterior envelope components per ASTM and AAMA. Smoke Testing
• Storm water drainage, design analysis, and specification
• Forensic investigations, including testing and research to determine source(s) of air & water infiltration and compliance of installed systems with applicable codes, and industry standards.
